Daisy as a mischievous pup - Age 9 weeks

After 14 months of competing in AKC Agility, Daisy has earned her Excellence Standard and Jumpers Titles.  She earned her Master's title 8 months later and her Master Jumpers title 2 months later.  She is currently working towards her Master Agility Champion Title (MACH).  We have attended many seminars including Suzanne Clothier, Dr. Ian Dunbar, Chris Parker, Jen Pinder, Steve Frick, Stuart & Pati Mah, Gayle & John York  and other excellent local trainers.  We take regular private and group agility lessons from Gold World Team Member Steve Frick.

Daisy earned her Canine Good Citizen designation in September, 2003. We have taken some group lessons for competitive obedience and plan to get her CD title in Obedience in the near future.  Daisy has an excellent ‘stay’ and that makes her easy and fun to photograph.  She would make an excellent model for print and commercials. She, also, knows several hand signals from a distance such as: sit, stand, down, left, right, etc.

Daisy is also a certified Therapy Dog through Therapy Dogs, Inc.  We have not done much therapy work yet.  We plan to do more in the future.  We will have more information about our involvement in Therapy work coming soon on our “Therapy Page."

Daisy was invited by our local Humane Society to be the “Celebrity Pet” for their television program, “Pets on Parade ”,  where they promote their shelter animals to new homes.  Daisy did many of her tricks for the camera crew, the program host and shelter staff.  Daisy was quite comfortable performing in spite of the fact that I was very nervous. The show ran for several weeks.

Recently released is a new book published by Random House called, “Do You Look Like Your Dog?”  Daisy and I are featured among 100 other dog/owner look-alikes.
